Philip has been Vicar of St Andrew’s since 2022. Before Chesterton, he served in parish ministry in County Durham and Oxford. Prior to ordination, Philip worked in university teaching and researching history and theology. He continues to teach and write occasionally. Philip is married to Ruth, and they have two children.
