This year’s Lent Course is called Cherish. Over five weeks, we will reflect together on our relationship with the natural world—the Creation that God lovingly made and gifted. Engaging creatively with the Bible, art, and a range of Christian authors—with plenty of time for discussion in small groups—we will consider the life we are called to live as Christians beside our fellow creatures and before God.
The course will be hosted at St Andrew’s Hall on five Tuesday evenings from Tuesday, March 11, to Tuesday, April 8. On Saturday, March 29, there will also be an all-age Creative Day in St Andrew’s Church, where you can drop in any time between 12 and 4 pm.
At 7 pm each Tuesday, there will be an opportunity to share fellowship and a delicious vegetarian meal together before the study and discussion, which will run from 7:45 until 9 pm. Please book in advance for the course and meal, as numbers may be limited. Suggested donation to cover the meal is £6/person (or £30 for all 5 weeks). If you would like to pay more to cover others who can afford less, please do. We want everyone to feel welcome and included. The meal will be provided by Cantab Catering.
You can register for the meal and course online through this link: Cherish 2025 Registration

There is no ‘set book’ we are reading for the Cherish Course, but there will be ‘suggested reading’ with the course booklet, and books to borrow from church.
The Cherish Creative Day on Saturday 29 March is designed as a celebration of art, creativity and the Creation for all ages. Everyone is welcome to drop-in any time 12-4pm.
