If you’ve been following along with the Equiano Family Project, you’ll know that at the heart of the project is the idea of commissioning a new stained-glass window in St Andrew’s church. The call for artists to initially respond to the recently drafted Artist Brief for a new Equiano Family Window opened on Monday 10 February 2025 at 9 am.

The Artist Brief provides information about St Andrew’s Chesterton, the family of Olaudah Equiano, the Equiano Family Project, the window’s location, potential themes for the window, the budget, the estimated timetable, and the application process.
