Coming soon! A new Equiano Family Project event!

Novelist Katie Sweeting will give a book talk and sign books at St Andrew’s on Saturday, November 2, at 3 p.m. Katie is the author of Remnant, a novel about Olaudah Equiano’s sister and one of his daughters (who attended St Andrew’s church).

Join Katie as she blends history and imagination ‘to innovatively create in Remnant the voices and lives of Equiano’s sister and daughter hidden from us by the historical record’ (Vincent Carretta, author of Equiano, the African: biography of a Self-Made Man).

Everyone is welcome to come along and hear what Katie has to share. Books will also be available for purchase and signing by the author!
