Urgent repairs needed to the church building will begin from the week of 14 August. The repair work will take place on weekdays. The church will remain open to the public in the usual way, but regrettably won’t be as peaceful. The church may be closed earlier on some days. Our aim is for the church to be open to visitors at weekends.

The most disruptive part of the project involves removing and replacing plaster from the wall in the South Side Aisle. From the week beginning 14 August, we now expect this side aisle to be sealed off with plastic sheeting, and out of use by the church for an estimated 10 weeks.
