Open Mind at St Andrew’s Hall has its first session on Friday 6 January at 11am in the Hall annexe. This is the first of a Friday morning series on art appreciation.
Because it will be the day of Epiphany, Nick will be recreating (virtually!) the Magi Chapel of the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence. Its walls are almost entirely covered by a famous cycle of frescoes by the Renaissance artist Benozzo Gozzoli, painted in 1459-1461 for the Medici family.
