The Equiano Family Project at St Andrew’s Chesterton is an arts, education and cultural initiative designed to promote awareness and reflection on the Equiano family story in the Chesterton community. The Equiano Family Project Fund was established to support this project, including an initiative to install a new stained-glass window in the church commemorating the Equiano Family: Olaudah Equiano (also known as Gustavas Vassa), his wife, Susannah Cullen, and their two children, Anna Maria Vassa and Joanna Vassa. If you would like to give to the Equiano Family Project at St Andrew’s Chesterton, please donate here.
