If you are looking for services this coming Holy Week and Easter, here is what you need to know:

In addition to our usual 8 am Sunday morning service, on the 29th of March there is an All-Age Communion with a procession of Palms at 10 am. Then on Holy Wednesday at 8 pm is Sung Compline followed by Last Supper, Eucharist, and Watch at 6:30 on Maundy Thursday (please email admin@standrews-chesterton.org if you would like to join as we begin in St Andrew’s Hall with a light meal).

On Good Friday we start the day at St George’s (CB4 1LN) at 10:30 am for a Walk of Witness through Chesterton ending at St Andrew’s at 11:30 am for refreshments and crafts. At 2 pm in church we will observe an Hour at the Cross. The following day on Easter Eve/Holy Saturday, there will be the Lighting of the New Fire and an Easter Vigil at 8 pm. Finally, we will celebrate Easter Sunday with 8 am and 10 am services. The 10 am service will by an All-Age Service with Easter Egg Hunt for our young friends and refreshments for all. That evening, we will return for an Easter Evensong at 5:30 pm.
