Besom project update

A few weeks ago, a team of 11 from our youth group and church spent the afternoon clearing a garden for a family in Chesterton. We had a great time working together to clear the space from debris, weeds and overgrown hedges and ivy. The project was organised through a local charity The Besom which provides a bridge between those who want to give time, money, things or skills and those who are in need. We also made a contribution the work of Besom through our PCC Mission and Giving committee and one member of the group donated several pairs of gardening gloves to the equipment stock, which were very well received! This is our third Besom project as a church and we hope to do another in 2019. To find out more about The Besom in Cambridge visit
